This blood pressure monitor is completely inaccurate.  The cuff is way too big and difficult to get on my arm.  I didn't realize that I could not return it or I never would have purchased it.  Your return policy stinks!  Yet another company that rips people off royally!

My computer uses Microsoft Vista operating system.  I have downloaded the software that came with the unit and when I connected the unit to the computer it downloaded some additional software.  However, the download application is not working: I get a error message: "BP data not found, disconnected".  I have talked with Contec's hot line at 1-347-535-0669.  They sent back this message today: Good morning, I have conslut our engineer about your problem of the CONTEC08A, he said it is the problem of the blank data.  There are three patient data you can store, but when you download the data from the unit, please must make sure the data you download is the data you store.  The serial number."  !!! THIS IS NOT HELPFUL!!  Is there some I can talk to on your staff about this?  My e-mail is midespain@comcast.net.  Please contact me.  I am not happy with Contec.

The monitor is not user friendly in regards to user field. We have both adults and pediatric patients and the monitor cannot toggle between the 2 users on the main menu. For the price however will have to deal with it.

It is a little hard for one person to put on the adult cuff, it should have something to hold it together so one could just slip it over the arm and tighten it.  I have an old Omeron and it is so easy to put on the cuff and it also beeps as the heartrate /pulse is measured.  I don't know if the Omeron cuff would work on this machine or not.  I have not tried it.  I find myself still using the Omeron as I do not always have someone to help me with the cuff.
