CMS Model 50-F is designed to be worn comfortably on the patient's wrist for easy spot checking of blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate.  The CMS 50-F can be used for monitoring daily activities and overnight sleep studies.  The compact design is intended to give the patient greater freedom of movement while improving patient compliance.

CMS Model 50-F includes full alarm setup options with patient monitoring and data storage for download to PC for trending analysis with the included SPO2 Software.  Includes Lithium Ion Rechargeable Battery.

CMS Model 50-F answers the physician, medical, home health care, sports and aviation markets demand for a lightweight, inexpensive monitor for measuring SPO2 oxygen saturation and heart rate during physically active and high-altitude activities. The CMS Model 50-F finger pulse oximeter offers the user a greater ability to monitor these vital signs under motion and is less expensive than most available devices.

The CMS Model 50-F Wrist Pulse Oximeter is very small & lightweight.  The CMS Model 50-F measures blood oxygen saturation (%SpO2) and pulse rate.

 

The CMS Model 50-F is based on CMS's uniquely patented algorithms that use dual 'see-through' sensor technology for the accurate measurement of blood oxygen saturation levels and heart pulse rate.

 

CMS Model 50-F Wrist pulse oximeter will NOT monitor SPO2 during activity and movement.  You must stop the current activity and take the reading while stationary.  Movement will cause readings to be affected by artifact.

Overall, I am pleased with the operation of the unit. However, the instrucions with the unit were useless when it came to uploading the data and it took two phone calls before someone could give me the correct instrucions to upload the data to a computer. Also, the S/W disk provided would not load on my computer. It did load on my friends identical computer so I can view the memory data But that is still an inconvenience.

The Oximeter performs in a completely satisfactory manner.  The instructions are written in Chinese-English and require a great deal of attention to determine what they intend to say.  The program provides an owner's manual but it is merely the pdf of the paper version that accompanies the device.

Good to monitor for desaturation and keep record September 22, 2011

I am happy with the item I purchased.  The information from the phone person was excellent.  The alarm does work when in recording mode, just not the display.  This make the product perfect for my desired use of monitoring my oxygen saturation during sleep with awake for need to intervene and keeping a record for my healthcare provider.
