The SonoTrax Pro II is made for simple auscultation (intermittent listening). Like other Sonotrax dopplers, the Sonotrax Pro II doppler has an audio output.

A variety of waterproof probes are available. The 2 or 3 mHz probes are indicated for the detection of fetal heart rate from early gestation through delivery and as a general indication of fetal well being. They can also be used to verify fetal heart viability following patient trauma. The higher frequency probes are useful for understanding vascular conditions, etc.

It is a high performance model with FHR (Fetal Heart Rate) detection. It uses a manual mode with detection of the FHR through the built-in speaker. The SonoTrax Pro II is slim and power saving and offers your choice of an interchangeable waterproof 2, 3, 4, 5 or 8 MHz ultrasound probe.
