This 2 section automatic loading stretcher with an X frame undercarriage is made of a high-strength aluminum alloy with heavy gauge wall tubing. It comes with a high density, closed foam, durable waterproof cushion that can be easily sanitized. Also, to provide maximum comfort for the patient during transport, the metal frame has an adjustable back to provide varied seating positions.

The unit is easy to use. One person can operate and transport the patient, with this stretcher, to the ambulance or transporting vehicle. The mechanical foldaway legs are controlled by the handles at the end of the stretcher. The legs can be folded under the stretcher automatically when loading onto a vehicle. Please be sure that the deck height of your vehicle is low enough to utilize this feature; in some cases, a short lift may be required. (To utilize this feature the deck height of the transport vehicle must be below 32" to avoid a lift). The stretcher can be locked by included devices when on the ambulance or transporting vehicle. This type of stretcher can be characterized as light weight, durable, safe and easy to operate. The unit can be adjusted to six high positions and the cushion can be separated from the stretcher/
