Intended Use

The Control Solution is a standard aqueous glucose solution. It has a defined amount of glucose and it is used to check the accuracy of the entire Blood Glucose Monitoring System. The Control Solution test examines the performance of the Glucose Meter, Test Strip, and your operating techniques.

When to use EasyTouch Control Solution
Easy�Touch� Control Solution can be used to verify that the Easy�Touch� Glucose Monitoring system is working correctly and giving accurate results. The system is performing correctly if the control solution test result falls within the specified control solution range listed on your Test Strip vial. You are encouraged to use Control Solution on a regular basis but at least once/week. If you suspect your blood glucose tests are not consistent with how you feel or your tests are higher or lower than normal, you may validate the performance of your test with Control Solution. Use the low solution to test that your meter is accurate when your blood sugar sugar levels are below 110; use the high solution to test for levels above 110.
