The 5410L Diagnostix Portable Set�s 3.5V rechargeable battery handles utilize Li-ion battery technology. Combined with the super efficient LED lamps, the batteries provide up to 50 hours of continuous operation between charges (compared to 2 to 3 hours for a Nimh or Nicad battery) and a 1,200 charging cycle (approximately 2.5 times the older battery technology). This means nearly 4 years of daily recharging.

The ADLED technology provides near perfect lighting performance with a color temperature of 4200K, 17,000 lux, a >90 color rendering index (CRI) and a life expectancy of 100,000 hours (compared to 20-30 hours for Halogen lights). In addition, ADC�s patented ADtronic electronic rheostatic light output control provides infinite, continuously variable control � electronically. Another feature is an auto shutoff after 2 minutes to further conserve battery strength and lamp life.
