The Dimetek Micro Ambulatory ECG Recorder (FDA approved) is a portable, easy-to-use device designed to monitor heart condition outside a hospital. The greatest feature of this device is its realization of continuous dynamic ECG recording in free movement; the data is reliable and meet medical standards.

Multiple modes available:

Quick mode: Prompt capture of ECG information in sudden cardiac events. (Less than one minute; skin and touch pad connection)
Holter mode: 24 hours ECG recording in free movements (lead cable electrode connection).
Event mode: Marks can be made when users not feeling well, and the marks will be shown on the ECG waveform. ( lead cable electrode connection)
Monitor mode: 32 hours ECG recording; light and sound alarms in abnormal heart condition ( lead cable electrode connection)

It is especially helpful in capturing unexpected heart problems to provide references for more effective clinical diagnosis. Using the Micro Ambulatory ECG Recorder can discover an ECG abnormity in an early stage without hospitalization. Using the monitor during exercise or after cardiac surgeries to monitor unstable ECG activities may prevent further complications.

Shipped on time.  However, after receiving the ECG Recorder, I had a technical question and they did not return my phone call.

4 of 5 Works well but complicated UI May 11, 2017
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
This ECG recorder works surprisingly well for a portable unit. The UI is a bit complicated to setup and use, but once configured, recordings are easy to start and stop.

3 of 5 Worthwhile because of the time-stamp ability January 12, 2014
Reviewer: ED from EUGENE, OR United States
Quick mode is noisy - chap stick on the finger contacts helps.
Holter (ambulatory) mode is usable for walking only (very noisy if chest muscles are used). Wrapping the carry pouch (looks like a coin purse!) with 4 layers of aluminum foil and placing the screen side toward the chest helps a lot.
The data plot function does not 'clamp' an out of range noisy signal but allows it to write over
'clean' traces making them difficult to read.
My MD100a12 has a better trace, say 31/2 * vs 3*

5 of 5 Micro Ambulartory ECG Recorder December 10, 2013
Reviewer: Jack H.M. Kwaan,M.D. from Long Beach, CA United States
Recently purchased above device and found it to be well suited for timed monitoring of arrhythmias, myocardial ischemia both silent and otherwise. On the PC computer, recordings can be reviewed with excellent graphics. The company should be congratulated for this well designed medical instrument.

4 of 5 Great EKG Machine for Home October 11, 2013
Reviewer: Peter from Johnston, RI United States
I love this machine.  It is easy to use and when used with the electrodes it make clear recordings.  The finger recordings have too much noise.  There is a major design flaw though.  You have to remove the batteries to get to the computer card, so that you can load the recordings onto your computer.  This is very bad and will eventually prematurely break the machine.  The batteries are too tight and the springs bend every time you take them out and put them back in.  After just one day of use, I had to bend the springs back into place.  The card slot needs to be accessible without removing the batteries!  Other than that, it is a great design.
