The CMS Model 65A monitor is a pulse oximeter device suitable for clinical or home use. It can be used handheld or the unit can rest on a desk. It uses probes to measures heart rate and SPO2 and it also has a plethsmograph display. These units come with an infant wrap probe and a pediatric probe enabling readings from neonates to 12 years old. As with most pulse oximeters, movement should be minimized to ensure the most accurate measurements. This particular open box package comes with extras.
The integrated printer initially prints out the heart rate and SPO2 reading with a space to write the patient's name (if in clinical setting). It then provides a continual reading hemoglobin wave display (plethymograph). Note that there is no scale on this printout.
This particular package comes with two CMS65A units with integrated printers ($195/each) , two probes [(choose between) 1 infant wrap probe ($82 value), 1 pediatric clip style probe ($82 value) or 2 each of the same kind ], 2 lithium batteries, 1 adapter, 2 power cables and 13 paper rolls. Please note that an adult probe does not come with this package. Also note that the color of the two units is "orange".
One of the two units is an open box and the other is a back up replacement unit.
