    CMS Model 50-D answers the physician, medical, home health care, sports and aviation markets demand for a lightweight, inexpensive monitor for measuring SPO2 oxygen saturation and heart rate during physically active and high-altitude activities. The CMS Model 50-D finger pulse oximeter offers the user a greater ability to monitor these vital signs under motion and is less expensive than most available devices.

    The CMS Model 50-D Finger Pulse Oximeter is very small & lightweight.  The CMS Model 50-D measures blood oxygen saturation (%SpO2) and pulse rate.

     

    The CMS Model 50-D is based on CMS's uniquely patented algorithms that use dual 'see-through' sensor technology for the accurate measurement of blood oxygen saturation levels and heart pulse rate.

     

    CMS Model 50-D finger pulse oximeter will NOT monitor SPO2 during activity and movement.  You must stop the current activity and take the reading while stationary.  Movement will cause readings to be affected by artifact.

     

    Aviation Pilots love CMS Model 50-D because it allows them to quickly assess their SPO2 while flying at high altitudes. Hypoxia can be a pilot's worst enemy, and the CMS Model 50-D finger pulse oximeter is a low-cost product which gives pilots peace of mind.

    I'm getting erratic results. Sometimes the expected data is displayed and sometimes I get very low so2 and very high hr and that just can't be real. I have a hand tremor--could this be the problem?

    No pun intended but it was exactly what the doctor ordered and hit the nail on the head. I was just recently diagnoses with COPD within the last 2 weeks and I was incapacitated for 6 days at a local hospital in the Twin Cities area and I also am a type 2 diabetic as well. I have one of those glucose sugar meters through a different medical supply company and I have all of the supplies I need to monitor my sugar levels on a daily basis. I basically created and devised my own personal medical supply box in which I keep or hold onto any kind of device that monitors my overall condition so that oximeter you sent  is very user friendly and pretty much straight forward to use.

    I AM TOTALLY INDEBTED AND RELIEVED that it was shipped so expeditiously and that it was ready to use within 3 min so I kind of feel like a kid with a new toy to play with.
